programming, with plenty of free time for your own exploring,
top notch food, amazing accommodations and respectfully treated
as adults.
Extreme Israel phenomenal
activities and touring plus a spiritual component second to none. Your
mornings are spent in enriching and engaging your Judaism and
your afternoons and evenings spent in living it through Israel.
In one day discuss the purpose of existence, the power invested
in being Jewish, and end up rafting, jeeping, repelling,
boating, spelunking, biking, horseback riding, zip-lining, or
camel riding (all of which are on our trip at one time or
another!). Spend the weekends celebrating Shabbat in the most
powerful Jewish cities on earth, Jerusalem and Safed, and
touring the corners of this rich and soulful country. Soak in
the spectrum of the Jewish experience through thought, spirit,
depth and fun.

Testimonials
After the Maimonides trips I went on this past spring
and summer, I left each one feeling invigorated and eager to
explore more about Judaism. I learned more in those few
weeks about my religion than I ever had in all of my past
learning in Hebrew school. And never before had I really
been interested in what I was learning, or at least in any
consistent way."
Jackie Schlechter 2009
I loved the learning and the wonderful people. It was
such a blessing to be in Israel and see the beauty of our
homeland while connecting with Judaism" Anonymous
The trip is the perfect way to experience Israel for
the first time, or even the 20th time. It's something that
will last forever. And, it's beautiful." Gabe Laskin
2007
You will feel more connected to Judaism and Israel more
than ever after this program and even better, it will be out
of love and not guilt." Anonymous
It is an incredible way to find identity and direction,
connect with peers, to improve who you are not just as a Jew
but as a person in general." Morgan Greenhouse 2007
MEOR Israel is the total package--Jewish content,
learning about Israel, Israeli culture, fun, outdoorsey--and
it is with leaders who genuinely care about and enjoy their
role as mentors. Tina Yaniv 2007

Being surrounded by a great group of people who are
interested in learning about Judaism. I had some of the
deepest and most interesting conversations with so many
people because of this shared desire to learn and
understand who we are and how we can relate to Judaism.
